LOCATION

The vendee is on the west coast of France south of the Loire where it enjoys a microclimate having almost as much sunshine as the south.

The house is situated in a very quiet little hamlet 6 km from Aizenay and 5 km form Le Poire Sur Vie. Both towns have tennis courts and swimming pools, markets and large supermarkets.

The area is very rural with lots of well signed walk and cycle ways including the old railway line and Aizenay forest. The splendid beaches of Jaumay, les dunes and Bretignolles are only 25 minutes away. St Gilles offers an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes.

THE HOUSE

Situated on the edge of a hamlet of 15 houses surrounded by open countryside.

The house has 3 double bedrooms & 1 single. Bedroom 1. King size bed with en suite, Bedroom 2. double, Bedroom 3. twin, Bedroom 4. single bed & put up bed. & 2 cots. 1 shower room & W.C. upstairs and one bathroom & seperate W.C. downstairs.

The large lounge dining room has a tiled floor & wood burning stove, the kitchen is well equipped with fridge, eye level oven, halogen hob & dishwasher.

The back kitchen & entrance hall have a large fridge, freezer, microwave & stone sink. A second reception room with T.V. (French) lots of DVDs, videos & games. There is a washing machine in the old wine cellar adjacent.

 

  

THE GARDEN

The garden extends to 2 acres part of which is a field on the north side. The south facing front garden is enclosed, with large terrace and boule area, wooden garden furniture, comfy chairs and BBQ.

The large barn has floodlit table tennis and there are 7 bikes of various sizes to use.
